Within our parish, our active members perform spiritual works of mercy as assigned and meet weekly to pray together and report on visitations. These works of mercy include visitations to retirement/nursing home residents, hospital patients and homebound parishioners. Parishioners are also welcome to join just the opening part of our meeting each Thursday night to pray the rosary with the group as part of our parish daily rosary ministry.

Days/Times: Every Monday evening from Sept. through Easter, 7:00-8:30 PM.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the Church’s process of welcoming newcomers into full communion with the Catholic Church. R.C.I.A. is for those persons who have never been baptized and seek to join the community of believers. These men, women and children are called “catechumens”.

Others participants in the R.C.I.A. are Catholic adults who serve as sponsors for the catechumens. These people have a very important role in helping to nurture and introduce the catechumens to the Church community by providing support, example, and prayer.

RCIA is also open to those baptized in another Faith Tradition but wish to become Catholic as well as those already baptized Catholic.
